Scope

This standard specifies the rules for comparing the measured values and tolerance limits of various surface structure parameters defined in GB/T 3505-2009, GB/T 18618, GB/T 18778.2-2003, and GB/T 18778.3-2006. This standard also stipulates the default rules for selecting the cut-off wavelength λc when measuring the roughness profile parameters defined in GB/T 3505-2009 using the stylus instrument specified in GB/T 6062.
