Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product identification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements for cationic dyeable modified polyester low elasticity yarn. This standard is applicable to cationic dye-dyeable modified polyester (CDP) low elastic yarn with a total linear density of 30.0 dtex~700.0 dtex, a single filament linear density of 0.3 dtex~7.0 dtex, and a circular cross-section. Other types of modified polyester low elasticity yarns that can be dyed with cationic dyes can be used as a reference.
