Scope: This standard specifies the energy efficiency grades, energy efficiency limit values, energy conservation evaluation values of flat-panel TVs, as well as measurement methods and inspection rules for energy efficiency and passive standby power. This standard applies to LCD TVs and plasma TVs (hereinafter referred to as flat-panel TVs) whose main functions are reception, demodulation and display of terrestrial, cable, satellite or other analog and digital signals (hereinafter referred to as flat-panel TVs) and which work normally under the grid voltage; it is also applicable to the main functions For TV, it does not have a tuner, but it is a display device distributed as a TV product.
