- Scope
- This standard specifies the energy efficiency grades, allowable values of energy efficiency, evaluation values of energy conservation of flat-panel TVs, as well as measurement methods and inspection rules for energy efficiency and passive standby power. This standard applies to common-purpose LCD TVs and plasma TVs (hereinafter referred to as flat-panel TVs) that work normally under grid voltage, and also applies to LCD or plasma TV display devices that do not have a tuner and whose main function is television. Other types of flat panel display devices can be implemented by reference.
