Scope

This standard specifies the energy efficiency levels, energy efficiency limit values, energy efficiency calculation and testing methods for flat-panel TVs and general-purpose set-top boxes (also known as "digital TV receivers"). This standard applies to LCD TVs and organic light-emitting diode TVs (hereinafter collectively referred to as "flat-panel TVs") that work normally under AC220V, 50Hz power supply conditions and whose main functions are terrestrial, cable, satellite or other analog, digital signal reception, demodulation and display. ), also applies to LCD and organic light-emitting diode display devices whose main function is a television and does not have a tuner but is circulated as a television product. This standard applies to set-top boxes that work normally under AC220V, 50Hz power supply conditions, including cable set-top boxes, terrestrial set-top boxes, satellite set-top boxes and network set-top boxes. This standard does not apply to live broadcast satellite set-top boxes.
