Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of online laser trace water analyzers for chemical industry. This standard applies to online laser trace water analyzers (hereinafter referred to as analytical instruments) that use tunable semiconductor laser absorption spectroscopy technology to measure trace water concentrations in gases in the chemical industry.
