- This standard specifies the method for measuring the volume resistivity and surface resistivity of insulating paint films. This standard applies to the determination of insulation resistance of insulating paint films. That is, a certain DC voltage is applied to the paint film, and a high resistance meter is used to measure the volume resistance RV and surface resistance RS, thereby calculating the volume resistance coefficient ρv and surface resistance coefficient ρs of the paint film. ρv is expressed in Ω·cm, and ρs is expressed in Ω. express.
