Scope: This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, labels, packaging, transportation and storage of active zinc oxide. This standard applies to active zinc oxide produced by wet methods. This product is mainly used as a reinforcing agent for rubber or cables, an activator (natural rubber), and a vulcanizing agent for natural rubber and chloroprene rubber. It can also be used in electronics, ceramics, catalyst and other industries.
