- This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, labeling, packaging, transportation, storage and safety requirements for industrial active zinc oxide. This standard applies to industrially active zinc oxide produced by wet methods. This product is mainly used as a reinforcing agent for rubber or cables, an activator (natural rubber), and a vulcanizing agent for natural rubber and chloroprene rubber.
