- This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of industrial active zinc oxide. This standard applies to industrially active zinc oxide produced by the decomposition of zinc carbonate. This product is mainly used as a reinforcing agent for rubber or cables, an activator (natural rubber), and a vulcanizing agent for natural rubber and chloroprene rubber.
