Scope
Warning: If adequate safety precautions are not taken, the test procedures required by this part of GB/T 18029 may cause injury accidents. This section only refers to technical suitability and does not exempt the manufacturer or testing laboratory from legal responsibilities related to health and safety. Scope: This part of GB/T 18029 specifies the requirements and test methods for electromagnetic radiation and electromagnetic immunity of indoor and (or) outdoor electric wheelchairs and electric scooters for disabled persons with a maximum speed of no more than 15km/h. This part of GB/T 18029 is also applicable to manual wheelchairs with an external electric drive assist kit, not applicable to vehicles that can carry more than one person. This part of GB/T 18029 also specifies the electromagnetic compatibility requirements and test methods for battery chargers used with electric wheelchairs and electric scooters. In order to facilitate performance comparison through test results, reference configurations are given for adjustable wheelchairs and scooters.
