Scope
This part of GB/T 18029 specifies the method for determining the coefficient of friction of a rough test plane (such as an unpolished concrete surface). If the method specified in this standard is used to test smooth or polished surfaces, the measured coefficient of friction shall be constant over the entire test plane. Several test items of wheelchairs (such as GB/T 18029.1, GB/T 18029.3, ISO 7176-2, ISO 7176-6 and ISO 7176-10) require the friction coefficient of the surface to be within the range specified in this part.
