Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking and transportation of closed presses. This standard applies to closed single, double, and four-point mechanical presses, as well as closed single, double, and four-point trimming presses. This standard does not apply to hot die forging presses, closed high-speed presses and other special presses.
