- This standard specifies the accuracy, tolerances and inspection methods of closed four-point presses. This standard applies to general-purpose closed four-point single-action mechanical presses, such as crankshaft and eccentric presses (hereinafter referred to as presses) used in processes such as blanking, bending, forming and stretching of metal materials. This standard does not apply to forging presses, multi-link presses and special presses with special structures (such as powder forming presses).
