- Scope
- This standard applies to safety and environmental procedures for high-voltage switchgear and control equipment during installation, transfer, normal and abnormal operation, SF 6 handling, end-of-life disposal. These procedures should be considered the minimum requirements to ensure the safety of personnel working with SF6 and to minimize the release of SF6 into the environment. This standard is also generally applicable to gas mixtures containing SF6.
