- This standard specifies the requirements, inspection rules, test methods, packaging, marking, storage and transportation, and safety warnings for industrial sulfur hexafluoride. This standard is applicable to the refined industrial sulfur hexafluoride produced by the direct reaction of fluorine and sulfur. The product is mainly used in electric power industry, metallurgical industry and meteorological department, etc. Molecular formula: SF6. Relative molecular mass: 146.050 419 2 (according to the international relative atomic mass in 2009).
