- Scope
- This standard specifies the weighted fuel consumption rate and engine oil consumption rate limits of non-road diesel engines and their test methods. This standard is applicable to land-use (except for road vehicles, three-wheeled vehicles and low-speed trucks), marine, agricultural and forestry tractors and agricultural machinery, construction machinery, generator sets, water pump sets and other non-road uses with a rated power not greater than 560kW. Diesel engines, the fuel used is light diesel oil, excluding marine diesel engines burning heavy oil.
