Scope

This standard specifies the weighted fuel consumption rate limits and test methods of non-road diesel engines. This standard applies to non-road diesel engines (hereinafter referred to as diesel engines) with a calibrated power of no more than 560kW. The fuel used is light diesel, excluding marine diesel engines burning heavy oil.
