- Scope
- This standard specifies the system composition, ray detector, detection environment, detection method, imaging technology, image quality, image display and observation, image evaluation, inspection report, image storage, and process of gas cylinder butt weld X-ray digital imaging inspection method. assessment etc. This standard is applicable to X-ray digital imaging detection of gas cylinder butt welds made of steel and non-ferrous metal materials with a base metal thickness of 1.5 mm to 20.0 mm. The radiation detection technology stipulated in this standard is AB level—medium sensitivity technology. This standard can be used as a reference for X-ray digital imaging inspection of butt welds of other equipment.
