Scope

This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements and inspection methods of linear image quality meters (monofilament image quality meters) for industrial radiographic testing. This standard applies to linear image quality meters made of copper, steel, titanium, aluminum and other metals, and is applicable to type inspection and factory inspection of linear image quality meters. This standard can also be used as the acceptance basis for user orders. Appendix A specifies a special linear image quality meter.
