Scope

This standard specifies statistical methods for data analysis in proficiency testing schemes, and makes recommendations for the practical use of the above methods by proficiency testing scheme participants and accreditation bodies. This standard applies to the laboratory's measurement results to verify that there is no obvious unacceptable bias. This standard applies to quantitative data and not to qualitative data.
