Scope: This standard specifies the structural type, requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of liquefied petroleum gas marine heaters. This standard applies to the design, manufacture and acceptance of heaters with shell side design pressure not greater than 2.0 MPa, inlet design temperature not lower than -80°C, heating medium being seawater, and heated medium being liquefied petroleum gas.
