- Scope
- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, markings, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, instructions for use, transportation, and storage of pharmaceutical high-purity nitrogen generators. This standard applies to medicinal high-purity nitrogen generators (hereinafter referred to as nitrogen generators) that use the molecular sieve pressure swing adsorption method to produce nitrogen with a nitrogen content of not less than 99.999% purity.
