Scope: This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of silicone defoamers. This standard applies to silicone defoamers made of polymethylsiloxane as the active body. The silicone defoamers in this standard are not suitable for food and pharmaceutical industries.
