Scope

This standard specifies the classification, type and basic parameters, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, storage and transportation of marine charging power generation devices (hereinafter referred to as power generation devices). This standard applies to marine charging power generation devices with a rated power of 1.2 kW to 18 kW, driven by a diesel engine, charging batteries and supplying power to other resistive loads.
