- Scope
- This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, transportation and storage of marine rotating electrical machines (hereinafter referred to as marine electrical machines). This standard applies to all types of marine motors (including mobile and fixed offshore installations). This standard does not cover miniature control motors.
