Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, models and classifications, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of mining vehicle-mounted methane power-off devices. This standard is applicable to mining truck-mounted methane power-off devices used in underground coal mines where methane gas and coal dust explosion hazards exis .
