Scope: This standard specifies the definition, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements of PTT elastic yarn. This standard is applicable to circular cross-section, semi-matt PTT elastic yarn with a total wire density of 33 dtex-340 dtex and a single wire density of 0.8 dtex-5.6 dtex. Other types of PTT elastic yarn can be used as a reference.
