Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, type and size, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of mine high-strength circular link chains. This part applies to scraper conveyors, scraper loaders, cantilever roadheaders, coal plows, drum shearers and other mechanical traction chains used in coal mines. It is not suitable for lifting chains and suspension chains.
