Scope: This standard specifies the structure and classification, materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of high-density polyethylene silicon core tubes. This standard applies to optical cables, silicon core tubes for cable protection and supporting pipe fittings laid in underground direct burial, pipelines, trenches and other environments. This standard does not apply to optical cables, silicon core tubes for cable protection and supporting pipe fittings that are directly exposed to sunlight outdoors and whose blowing pressure is greater than 1.2MPa.
