- Scope
- This standard specifies the classification and naming, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation, and storage of acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) resins. This standard is applicable to the ABS resin composed of styrene and acrylonitrile copolymer as the continuous phase and polybutadiene and a certain amount of other components as the dispersed phase. This standard does not apply to flame-retardant, reinforced or other modified ABS resins.
