Scope: This standard specifies the classification, codes and markings, requirements, performance inspection, and use identification of packaging for dangerous goods transported by air other than Class 2, Item 6.2, and Class 7 in Chapter 4 Classification. This standard is applicable to the performance inspection and use appraisal of the packaging of dangerous goods transported by air other than Category 2, Item 6.2 and Category 7 in Chapter 4. This standard does not apply to the inspection of packages of dangerous goods transported by air with a volume exceeding 450L and a net weight exceeding 400kg.
