Scope: This standard specifies the classification, code and marking, requirements, performance inspection and use appraisal of the packaging of dangerous goods (except military products) transported by road. This standard is applicable to the inspection of packaging of dangerous goods transported by road other than Category 2, Item 6.2 of Category 6 and Category 7 in Chapter 4. This standard does not apply to pressure receptacles, packages with a net weight greater than 400kg, and packages with a volume exceeding 450L.
