Scope

This standard specifies the classification, requirements, coding and marking of packaging for dangerous goods transported by road. This standard is applicable to the inspection of packages for dangerous goods transported by road other than Category 2, Category 6, Item 6.2 and Category 7 in Chapter 4. This standard does not apply to pressure receptacles, packages with a net weight greater than 400kg, and packages with a volume exceeding 450L.
