Scope
This standard specifies the general principles of electrical fire detection technical specifications and methods for detecting and judging electrical fire hazards in substations, indoor low-voltage distribution lines, lighting devices and general electrical equipment, grounding and equipotential bonding, special places, and electrical fire hazard detection. Testing and processing of results. This standard is applicable to electrical fire detection for power users of 10kV and below. This specification does not apply to electrical fire detection in mines, explosion hazard locations, and anti-static, lightning protection and fire-fighting facilities.
