Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, quality requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, and requirements for packaging, labeling, storage and transportation of rice. This standard applies to edible commercial rice processed from paddy, brown rice or semi-finished rice, but not to special rice, special rice, special variety rice and rice added with additives.
