- This standard specifies the principles, instruments, equipment, samples, test procedures and result calculations of the test methods for thermal expansion rate and linear thermal expansion coefficient of fine porcelain wire in the range from near liquid nitrogen temperature to the maximum temperature of 1500 °C. This standard applies to bulk fine ceramics, and other inorganic non-metallic materials can also be used as a reference.
