Scope

This standard specifies the method, principle, equipment requirements, test procedures and calculation methods for measuring the linear thermal expansion coefficient of engineering ceramics. This standard is applicable to the determination of linear thermal expansion coefficient of engineering ceramics from room temperature to 1200 °C.
