This guiding technical document specifies the general requirements for reliability tests of plastic case circuit breakers (referred to as molded case circuit breakers). This guiding technical document is applicable to molded case circuit breakers conforming to GB 14048.2-2001, AC 50Hz (60Hz), rated voltage not exceeding 1000V, rated current 250A and below. In addition to verification test plans and test procedures, this guiding technical document is also applicable to product reliability testing. This guiding technical document can be used as a guiding document for molded case circuit breaker manufacturers to conduct product reliability tests. The reliability test of the molded case circuit breaker with rated current above 250A can refer to this standard.
