Scope
This part of GB/T 5080 provides guidelines for reliability test design, implementation and analysis of test data using statistical methods. The tests described in this section involve repairing the product and not repairing the product, and checking whether the product has a constant failure strength or failure rate. This section applies to: ——when conducting reliability tests according to the explicit or implied requirements of the contract; ——when designing reliability tests; ——during reliability tests; ——when analyzing and analyzing reliability test data When compiling the reliability test report. This section also applies when the contract or test program specifies the use of national standards for statistical methods without specifying reference to specific standards. During the development, design verification and design finalization of a new product, different tests are required. The purpose of these tests is to discover the flaws in the design of the product and eliminate these flaws, thereby improving the performance, quality, safety, robustness, reliability, and usability of the product while reducing costs. Although guidelines on test conditions, test design and test documentation are applicable to most tests, this section only deals with the use of statistical methods to analyze test data. Although this part discusses usability test, maintainability test and reliability growth test, because they are very important topics, they are introduced in more detail in their respective standards: usability test (see GB/T 15647- 1995), maintainability test (see GB/T9414 (all parts)), reliability growth test (see GB/T15174-1994, IEC61164:1995). This section does not include software testing (see IEC 61704), but this section applies to products including hardware and software. Therefore, this part applies to a wide range of products, including civilian products, industrial products, military products and aviation products. This part contains the analysis of verification, measurement, comparison and evaluation of success rate/failure rate, and in Chapter 9, a flow chart for statistical processing guidance of reliability test data is given. Although this section does not describe in detail the environmental tests, accelerated step stress tests and overstress tests, but some practices and statistical tools can be used for these tests.
