Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining the content of residual styrene monomer in cured unsaturated polyester resin reinforced plastics and their castings by gas chromatography. This standard is applicable to the determination of residual styrene monomer content in unsaturated polyester resin reinforced plastics and unsaturated polyester resin castings.
