This part of GB/T 7095 specifies the requirements for Class 200 double-coated enamelled copper flat winding wires. The inner coating is based on polyester or polyesterimide resin, which can be modified if the chemical properties of the original resin are preserved and all requirements specified for enameled wires are met. The outer coating is based on polyamideimide resin. Class 200 indicates a thermal class, which requires a minimum temperature index of 200 and a thermal shock temperature of at least 220°C. The Celsius temperature corresponding to the temperature index is not the recommended temperature for magnet wire use, because it depends on many factors including the type of equipment used. The nominal size range of conductors applicable to this section is: wide side size: minimum 2.00mm, maximum 16.00mm; narrow side size: minimum 0.80mm, maximum 5.60mm. This standard covers flat enamelled copper wires of Class 1 and Class 2 film thicknesses and applies to the full range of conductor sizes. See GB/T 7095.1-2008 for the combination of wide side size and narrow side size and width/narrow ratio.
