This part of GB/T 7095 specifies the requirements for 2401) single-coat enamelled flat copper wires based on aromatic polyimide resin. Class 240 indicates a thermal class, which requires a minimum temperature index of 240 and a thermal shock temperature of at least 260°C. The Celsius temperature corresponding to the temperature index is not the recommended temperature for magnet wire use, because it depends on many factors including the type of equipment used. The nominal size range of conductors applicable to this standard is: ——Wide side size: minimum 2.00mm, maximum 16.00mm; ——Narrow side size: minimum 0.80mm, maximum 5.60mm. This part covers flat enamelled copper wires of grade 1 and grade 2 lacquer wax thickness, and applies to the entire specification range of conductors. See GB.T 7095.1-2008 for the combination of wide side size and narrow side size and width/narrow ratio.
