- Scope
- This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of the main drive speed-increasing gearbox of the wind power generating set (hereinafter referred to as the gearbox). This standard applies to gearboxes using parallel shafts or planetary gear transmission in horizontal-axis wind turbines (the swept area of the wind rotor is greater than or equal to 40m2). Other types of gearboxes for wind turbines can be implemented as a reference.
