Scope

This standard specifies a method for the determination of trace amounts of moisture in gases by determining the dew point of the gas. This part is applicable to the determination of trace moisture in gases such as hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, helium, neon, argon, krypton, xenon, nitrous oxide, sulfur hexafluoride and their mixed gases. Gases that condense before and gases that can react with moisture. This section is applicable to the determination of the dew point of gases from 0°C to -120°C.
