WARNING: Personnel applying this standard should have practical experience in formal laboratory work. This section does not address all possible security issues. It is the user's responsibility to take appropriate safety and health measures and ensure compliance with the conditions stipulated in the relevant national laws and regulations. This part of GB/T 223 stipulates the determination of tungsten content by the Sinkenin gravimetric method and tetraphenylarsine chloride-thiocyanate-chloroform extraction spectrophotometry. The Sinkenin gravimetric method in this part is applicable to the determination of tungsten content with a mass fraction of 1.00% to 22.00% in alloy steel, superalloy and precision alloy. This part of tetraphenylarsine chloride-thiocyanate-chloroform extraction spectrophotometry is suitable for the determination of 0.050% to 1.50% tungsten content in carbon steel, alloy steel and superalloy.
