Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, sampling, identification and identification rules for the use of packaging for dangerous goods transported by railways. This standard is applicable to the identification of the use of packaging for dangerous goods transported by railways other than Category 2, Category 6, Item 6.2, and Category 7 in the classification of dangerous goods. This standard does not apply to pressure receptacles, packages with a net weight greater than 400kg, and containers with a volume greater than 450L.
