Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and labeling, packaging, transportation, storage, etc. of the feed additive zinc methionine. This standard applies to zinc methionine products with a methionine-zinc molar ratio of 2:1 or 1:1 synthesized from soluble zinc salt and methionine (2-amino-4-methylthio-butyric acid). Methionine—zinc methionine product with a zinc molar ratio of 2:1: the molecular formula is C10H20N2O4S2Z relative molecular mass is 361.8. Methionine—zinc methionine product with a zinc molar ratio of 1:1: the molecular formula is (C5H10NO2SZn)HSO4, The relative molecular mass is 311.6.
