- This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage of silver-graphite electrical contacts containing 3%, 4%, 5%, and 10% graphite. This standard applies to silver graphite electrical contacts (hereinafter referred to as electrical contacts) manufactured by sintering-extrusion or sintering-recompression process. This series of products are mainly used as closing and breaking contacts and sliding contacts of low-voltage switchgear.
