Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging and storage of silver-graphite electrical contacts containing 3%, 5%, and 10% graphite. This standard applies to silver graphite electrical contacts produced by powder pressing, sintering and extrusion, or sintering and repressing processes. This series of products are mainly used as closing and breaking contacts and sliding contacts of low-voltage switchgear.
